![]() A few weeks later my Mother did pass … I contacted Laura. She also advised me how to coordinate with the hospice and Neptune upon my Mother’s passing. She provided me with the VA forms needed when my Mother would pass to be buried at the same site as my Dad – she provided me with the list of documents needed etc. I reached out to Laura Anderson, Funeral Director … she couldn’t have been more helpful, sensitive and professional. When my Mother moved into hospice she asked me to reached out to Neptune in Golden Valley, MN to make sure as a WWII Vet that she could be buried at the Ft Snelling National Cemetery with my Dad (also WWII Vet who passed 20+ years ago). My dear 92 year old Mother passed away a few months ago … she was a Neptune member. But, if you would bother to pre-arrange, just pick up the Yellow Pages. There’s a lot that goes on when someone dies, and it’s nice to have a card with a number that you just call, and then they take care of it. ![]() Neptune Society had things lined up on both sides and I just carried the remains over and gave it to them, and then they took it from there. I transported my parents’ remains to the DVA Cemetery myself as I wanted to do that. In both cases, I made the phone call and they had a person over there quick to pick up the ashes, and that person at the Valley office was very understanding and meticulous in making arrangements. ![]() I went over to their office and they had everything all set, and that worked very well. Neptune Society met every expectation, and the people were very prompt and friendly. My parents had it all pre-setup and there was one piece of paper that had to be different from Minnesota and they got that taken care of, and the Neptune team was very helpful in setting up the deal that my parents had over at the DVA Cemetery at Fort Snelling.īoth of my parents passed away, and Neptune Society was the smoothest part to manage. ![]() When they moved up here, they checked in advance with the local office here to make sure they had a record of this arrangement, and they did. My parents subscribed to Neptune Society many years ago, and they gave me the phone number and said, “Here’s where you call.” They originally set this up with Neptune’s office down in San Antonio, Texas, when they lived down there. ![]()
